It seems answer E is not correct / not valid. According to old rules of the FCC (and Cisco Docs) maximum power is as follows: OFDM: 30mW CCK: 100mW However the FCC rules have been updated since then. Current rules show the maximum transmiw power for the 2.4ghz band is 1W (1000mW). https://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/text-idx?SID=8a15722bbf28508d72e2737f93f76892&mc=true&node=pt47.1.15&rgn=div5#se47.1.15_1247 §15.247 Operation within the bands 902-928 MHz, 2400-2483.5 MHz, and 5725-5850 MHz. ....... (a) Operation under the provisions of this Section is limited to frequency hopping and digitally modulated intentional radiators that comply with the following provisions: ....... (3) For systems using digital modulation in the 902-928 MHz, 2400-2483.5 MHz, and 5725-5850 MHz bands: 1 Watt.
