In my opinion ABD are correct but the best answer is D. A and B basically show the same (the IOS version of the controller) that technically is the same IOS version that are running the joined APs. However, if you want to check the IOS version of an specific AP then the best way is go to GUI > Wireless > Access point > General

Sorry, but show running config is not valid on LWAPs. Option D gives you the software version of an AP.

Correct answer is A. There is currently no "Show running-config" command for controllers. There used to be but it has been phased out. Current Cisco instructions for upgrading tell you to check with "Show sysinfo" This is done on the controller CLI, but the AP will upgrade itself with the same code. Verify In order to verify the version of WLC software that is running, log in to the controller after the system reboots. After upgrade, from CLI: (Cisco Controller) >show sysinfo

I'm not so sure about that, they are asking to verify which version the access point is running. Not the controller.

What I mean is that this question looks very similiar to Question #53 where the correct answer is D. They both mentione AP code version.

Juaxoo, you are correct. It does not specify from where you are checking, that is what confused me. Show running config is a valid command on the AP, so the answer is correct.
