Assumed that the lightweight AP is in FlexConnect mode, it needs to be connected via trunk to be able to do local switching in case of a WAN problem. Agree, that B matches best.

D is not correct due to the regulates traffic. B is the best answer

The correct answer is D. Lightweight access points are recommended to be connected to an access port by Cisco. The WLC builds a CAPWAP tunnel to the AP and all traffic is passed to the WLC over the CAPWAP tunnel. The WLC then controls the traffic.
