ftp FTP Operation
http HTTP Operation
icmp-echo ICMP Echo Operation
icmp-jitter ICMP Jitter Operation
path-echo Path Discovered ICMP Echo Operation
path-jitter Path Discovered ICMP Jitter Operation
tcp-connect TCP Connect Operation
udp-echo UDP Echo Operation
udp-jitter UDP Jitter Operation
voip Voice Over IP Operation
output taken from c2901, so it should be icmp-echo and not path-echo, so right answer should be A
is a duplicate question but..
The correct answer for me is: packet loss detection
I think so because if we perform the command: show ip sla history 1 this is the output:
When the end device respond at the ping:
Life index: 1
Bucket index: 26
Sample time: *05:30:50.450 UTC Fri Mar 1 2002
RTT (milliseconds): 4
Response return code: OK
even the end device does not respond:
Life index: 1
Bucket index: 27
Sample time: *05:30:55.450 UTC Fri Mar 1 2002
RTT (milliseconds): 0
Response return code: Timeout
where life index is the index of ip sla
bucket is the number of attempt. the follow attemp will be 28
Sample time is simple to understand
RTT (round trip time): is the latency
Response return code: is the field which give you the info if the end to end connection works or not.
