Actually, why couldn't it be B as well ? The mac address does not need to be sticky, it can also be just "dynamic". Sticky adds the learned mac into the running config, what simple dynamic doesn't, but that doesn't prevent the mac to be learned too if it was just "dynamic". Edit: I think the reason is that we don't have to "enable" dynamic. It is automatically enabled when do run switchport port-security.

dynamic mac address learning is for associating IPs and MAC addresses of devices in the CAM. It has nothing to do with security. I

could you please tell us where have you seen ip addresses in MAC Adress Table? before your comment i believed that MAC Adress Table, which is stored in CAM as you mentioned, contains only MAC adresses and the switch ports associated with them...

Selected Answer: C
C is correct When sticky MAC addressing is enabled, the switch will automatically add the MAC address of the printer to its MAC address table, allowing it to communicate with other devices on the network.

Selected Answer: C
There are two commands to allow a switch to dinamically learn the MAC addresses of cennected devices by port-security: 1) switchport port-security: - Enables port security on a switch port. - Enables the switch to dynamically learn the MAC address. - However, it doesn't save the learnded MAC addresses on startup-config file. 2) switchport port-security sticky: - Enables the switch to dynamically learn the MAC address. - Allows learned MAC addresses can display in the running-config file (so, you can save it in the startup-config file)! So, if the network admin enabled "port-security" already (like the question statement says), I understand that he typed the 1st command already. Therefore, only the 2nd is missing.

Sticky mode learns MAC automaticaly and saves them to address table AND running config (to save them to startup so they wont be forgotten) while Dymamic mode saves only to address table. But both learns MACs dynamically. Thus both A and C are correct.

C is correct. Explanation: You can configure an interface to convert the dynamic MAC addresses to sticky secure MAC addresses and to add them to the running configuration by enabling sticky learning. To enable sticky learning, enter the switchport port-security mac-address sticky command

C is correct... but isn't the syntax something like..."switchport port-security mac-address sticky" ?

it's not a command written there, it's the action you are supposed to take

B is not correct because of the word "automatically"
