Found old exams from 200-225 exam and there ,poe and security are the answers....not load bal.

I think you're correct on D and E because load balancers are not mentioned in the deployment guide anywhere. There are client load balancing options for the AP and LAG where load balancing is done in the links between the WLC and switch.

Also, If a lot of users are on an AP closest to them it would not make since to load balance them to another AP that may be further away which can cause connectivity issues.

Remember guys: "two additional tasks should you CONSIDER?" So it's everything working. VLANs are must-have. Not additional. POE are fine, but remember that everything is working in this scenario. I go for A and E.

It says "should consider", so it's a recommendation: security policies is something that you don't have to do it, but you should consider. The answers are ok because it says "after you deploy a WLC", so you should already have an AP. To have APs before a WLC, you should already have VLANs and POE

I agree with you IF the question is "After the WLAN controller has been deployed, what else CAN be considered?"

B. configure additional VLANs E. configure additional security policies Explanation: B. configure additional VLANs: Configuring additional VLANs is crucial for segmenting traffic and ensuring proper routing. This allows you to isolate WLAN traffic for different user groups, such as guest access, corporate users, or voice applications, enhancing network performance and security. E. configure additional security policies: Implementing additional security policies is vital for protecting your WLAN from unauthorized access and ensuring compliance with security standards. This may include setting up authentication methods (like WPA2/WPA3 or 802.1X), access control lists, and guest access policies.

Deploy PoE Switches: While Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches are essential for powering access points (APs), they are typically considered during the initial design and deployment phase rather than as an additional task after the controller deployment.

B. Configure additional VLANs and E. Configure additional security policies are directly tied to optimizing and securing the wireless network, which are the most immediate and critical steps following the deployment of a new WLAN controller. No: deploying load balancers is not typically an immediate requirement after deploying a WLAN controller

I think A & E would be more suitable here. Refer to Question 207, Controller uses loadbalancing to maximize throughput = Optimized user performance. Optimization is additional.

Other than security policies allowing a group of devices. You also want to allow certain VLANs for devices communicating wirelessly. I think the wording of the answer is confusing "additional" doesn't make sense, but you certainly want to configure and allow certain VLAN traffic

"In addition to the improvements in physical security, firmware, and configuration management offered by LWAPP, the tunneling of WLAN traffic in an LWAPP-based architecture improves the ease of deployment without compromising the overall security of the solution. LAPs that support multiple WLAN VLANs can be deployed on access-layer switches without requiring dot1q trunking or adding additional client subnets at the access switches. All WLAN client traffic is tunneled to centralized locations (where the WLC resides), making it simpler to implement enterprise-wide WLAN access and security policies. B. Configure additional VLANs: If you are deploying multiple SSIDs or different wireless networks with different purposes (e.g., guest network, employee network, IoT network), you may need to configure additional VLANs on your network to segregate and manage traffic effectively. E. Configure additional security policies: Wireless networks require robust security policies to protect against unauthorized access and threats. You should configure additional security policies such as WPA/WPA2 encryption, authentication methods, and access control lists to ensure the security of your WLAN. The other options (A, C, D) may be necessary in certain network configurations, but they are not typically among the first tasks to consider when deploying a new WLAN controller.

The "deploy load balancers" option seems to me to be related to one of the 8 WLC activities that I studied, which would be the "Dynamic Client Load Balancing" activity, where the WLC can distribute the client load between nearby APs. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!?

After deploying a new WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) controller on the network , there are various tasks that need to be performed to ensure the network runs smoothly. Some of the tasks that should be considered include configuring additional VLANs to manage network traffic effectively and securely, and configuring additional security policies to protect the network from potential threats. Option A, deploying load balancers, might not be necessary after deploying a new WLAN controller, depending on the size and complexity of the network. Option C, configuring multiple VRRP (Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol) groups, is not directly related to WLAN deployment and might not be necessary in all cases. Option D, deploying POE (Power over Ethernet) switches, might not be needed if the existing switches meet the power requirements of the WLAN controller and access points

The text you selected is a question that asks what two additional tasks should be considered after deploying a new WLAN controller on your network. The answer to this question is B. Configure additional VLANs and E. Configure additional security policies. VLANs are used to segment network traffic and provide additional security. With a WLAN controller, you can configure multiple VLANs to separate guest traffic from corporate traffic or to separate different types of corporate traffic. Additional security policies can be configured to ensure that only authorized users are able to access the network and that data is protected from unauthorized access.
