When redistribution is configured between OMP and BGP at two Data Center sites (DC) that have Direct Connection Interlink, which step avoids learning the same routes on WAN Edge routers of the DCs from LAN?
A.
Set down-bit on WAN Edge routers on DC1
B.
Define different VRFs on both DCs
C.
Set OMP admin distance lower than BGP admin distance
D.
Set same overlay AS on both DC WAN Edge routers
By default, OMP is transparent to BGP even if propagate-aspath configured. overlay-as is a feature that prepends AS specified as a parameter of this command to BGP AS_PATH attribute of routes exported from OMP to BGP. If you configure the same overlay AS number on multiple devices in the overlay network, all these devices are considered to be part of the same AS, and as a result, they do not forward any routes that contain the overlay AS number, hence routing loop will be prevented.
As Hoon said, answer D
and now speaking with myself, in the book on page 58 omp loop prevention, are mentioned ways to prevent loops but from overlay. as i can see the question is just classic routing. so i will go sith D
