May I kindly ask why this is CE? Based on the link below, Cisco devices are already ready to be used for Ansible: https://packetpushers.net/ansible-cisco-snmp/#:~:text=Ansible%20even%20support%20Windows%20servers,of%20modules%20use%20different%20protocols.&text=Two%20examples%20are%20Cisco%20Nexus,to%20be%20used%20from%20Ansible.

A is clearly wrong, for actions to be executed on reboot the only thing I can think of is Zero Touch Provisionning or passing a Python script through DHCP

Because it is agentless, Ansible can automate anything. It can automate devices with SSH, which is the most common option, but it also has support for HTTP APIs, NETCONF, and RESTCONF.

E) because on networking devices you don't expect python present, so all modules are executing on ansible control host. From their documentation: "Unlike most Ansible modules, network modules do not run on the managed nodes." Different approach compared to managing linux servers via ansible, where you have to provide path ( and install python ) on managed node.

Ansible is agentless, can't be A... B and D are also not true, which leaves C and E. I do agree that the answer could've been more decisive, but it's C and E

isnt Ansible agent-less and not installed on the network device ? Think that takes out A.. the wording of E is bizarre but think its CE... https://developer.cisco.com/docs/ios-xe/#!configuration-management-quick-start-guide/ansible
