why is C wrong? APIs using YANG models over NETCONF and RESTCONF were specifically created because the council of elders sat down one day in 2002 and concluded that SNMP failed as a configuration protocol and they need something better.
I would argue it's C and E
SNMP is still used for example for monitoring tools. So you using API calls all of a sudden will not eliminate the need for SNMP.
I think D, E are correct and I sure do hope I am not wrong :D
Ok I get why is not A... but honestly D is a joke. APIs don't reduce network changes performance time, unless you have A LOT of identical (or with some logic) changes...
Still, D/E are the best.
normally absolutes are wrong. Locking out manual config? you think is impossible to config manually even if you use an API? I don't think so. D & E are correct
