I agree. Answer is A . An application-aware routing policy matches applications with an SLA, that is, with the data plane tunnel performance characteristics that are necessary to transmit the applications' data traffic. The primary purpose of application-aware routing policy is to optimize the path for data traffic being transmitted by Cisco SD-WAN devices.

• Control Policies are applied at vSmart: Tailors routing information advertised to WAN endpoints • App-Route Policies are applied at WAN Edge: SLA-driven path selection for applications • Data Policies are applied at WAN Edge: Extensive Policy driven routing https://www.ciscolive.com/c/dam/r/ciscolive/us/docs/2019/pdf/BRKRST-2791.pdf page 6

I will go with D , Cisco's word game. app-route policy is not the correct naming, it should have been app-aware routing, which is in essence a centralized data policy.

Application aware routing policy is a data policy so this question is a bit... dirty. But the book also specified this is done via an app-route policy. A is correct.

Exactly what you say, tricky question this. You reach the right policy via Centralized -> Application Aware Routing. 'app-route' isn't mentioned anywhere in the GUI I think. I'll answer this with D since data policy is an actual term Cisco uses.

I think it's under centralized policy when you select sequences... but I'm not 100% sure
