It actually disturbs me a little that the OCG neglects to cover this level of detail in A LOT of topics in the exams, yet it is still recommended. My opinion, it should be disregarded and the real advise given to test takers to just start with RFCs, White Papers, Labs and you will do better than making yourself believe that the OCG is actually a helpful tool. It gives false hope that you actually learned anything about the technologies being tested.
A. Correct, sparse mode utilizes a pull mode.
B. Incorrect, dense mode utilizes a push model.
C. Incorrect, sources register with the RP, not the receivers.
D. Incorrect, dense mode uses a flood and prune model to deliver multicast traffic.
