Should be HTTPS • RESTCONF— Uses structured data (XML or JSON) and YANG to provide a REST-like APIs, enabling you to programmatically access different network devices. RESTCONF APIs use HTTPs methods. https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/prog/configuration/166/b_166_programmability_cg/restconf_prog_int.pdf

Straight from Cisco docs. Obiwan Kenobi is 100% correct (because The Force is with him, folks. I can't believe I even have to tell you this). In this day and age, data of a sensitive nature should NEVER be transmitted without a protection layer. Cisco would never knowingly support the exposure of sensitive data, so choices that begin with "http" and don't end with "s" should immediately be thrown out unless you are being directed to identify something *wrong* with the code example. Stop wasting your time deliberating over immutable standards when the answer is so dang obvious. Further evidence for secure RESTCONF can be confirmed in RFC8040 section 2.0: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc8040#section-2 Welcome to 2021.

Book Devasc Page 628 Chapter Restconf: Like other REST APIs, RESTCONF uses the HTTPS protocol to encapsulate and send messages. Authentication is accomplished using typical HTTP authentication models, such as basic authentication, where usernames and passwords are Base64 encoded and transmitted from the client to the server via an Authentication header. Correct: HTTP/2 SSH HTTPS

provided answer is correct as the transport protocol for RESTCONF is indeed HTTP, it allows for HTTPS but the right answer is regular HTTP.

RESTCONF does not uses HTTP as per security recommendations. Here we're talking about Cisco certs and products. None of these use HTTP.
