A. SIP C. SSL SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) Preprocessor and SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Preprocessor are two of the application layer preprocessors that are used by Firepower Next Generation Intrusion Prevention System (NGIPS). SIP preprocessor inspects and analyzes SIP traffic, and SSL preprocessor inspects and analyzes SSL traffic. These preprocessors work in conjunction with the overall NGIPS system to provide a comprehensive security solution for protecting networks from a variety of attacks.
