Shouldn't the answer be: \1@conf\.pod8\.test\.lab instead of \[email protected]\.test\.lab? Why isn't there a slash before the period beginging with pod8?

Actually, none of the answers are valid. I plugged this into the expression tester on my Expressway C in my lab, and the alias does not match the regex pattern.

The problem is the apostrophe pipe ( '| ). The apostrophe isn't a valid character in REGEX, and the pipe specifies a logical OR. BUT, assuming the regex pattern was: (7508.*)@expc1a\.pod8\.test\.lab, then the answer would be C as verified by the expression tester. C doesn't work due to the unescaped period in the string, and the others add extra unwanted characters to the output.
