The only characteristic of traditional network monitoring is "ask network devices for any metric at any time" when this is polled by SNMP.
In streaming telemetry this is pushed periodically or when it is generated which prevents that networks device listen to SNMP poll requests.
I believe the expected answer is incorrect. The item that corresponds to traditional network monitoring is "Requesting specific metrics from network devices at any time."
