It took me 10 minutes to lab it up in GNS3.
A. Is wrong, cause the only possible ABR is R2 only.
B. Is wrong, cause regardless you adv loopback 0 with the network command as "0.0.0.0" or "0.0.0.255", R1 always see it, once you have applied the correct change.
C. Is wrong, cause "hello timers" are not in question here in the outputs shown.
D. Is the correct answer, cause you HAVE to not only match the same area numbers, but make them part of AREA 0 (the backbone area), otherwise the adj will never come up.
