In Exstart/Exchange State, when attempting to run OSPF between a Cisco router and another vendor's router. If the router with the higher MTU sends a packet larger that the MTU set on the neighboring router, the neighboring router ignores the packet.

I am leaning towards b due to the fact that I have configured point-to-point connections in the past. It is not as easy as typing the encapsulation ppp command in the subinterface.

I think it's A. the interface is using serial type, and the default configuration for OSPF is broadcast network type, so we must change the network type to point-to-point since it uses a serial connection

P-to-P is enabled by default in serials interfaces, I agree with Wilasky
