VRRP (Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol) is a protocol used to increase the availability of the default gateway on a LAN by allowing multiple routers to work together as a single virtual router.
If the primary router fails, another router in the group automatically takes over, ensuring uninterrupted gateway services.
