A company requires a new platform to store large volumes of log data that is generated in their assembly plant. The platform must be scalable, so the underlying technology must provide a path for fast deployment of new nodes for data and indexing? The data contains sensitive information, so specialist encryption tools must be used to secure the data. Which application deployment model meets the requirements?

Surely this is D - Hybrid? You get the security that you need from the private and the fast deployment that you get from the public? right?

No. Hybrids are used for additional resources during peak hours, not to deploy new nodes

Selected Answer: D
A hybrid cloud combines the benefits of both a private cloud, which offers the ability to store sensitive data in a secure, dedicated environment, and a public cloud, which offers the ability to scale quickly and easily by deploying new nodes as needed. With a hybrid cloud deployment, you could use specialist encryption tools to secure the sensitive data in the private cloud, and then take advantage of the scalability and flexibility of the public cloud to handle the large volumes of log data. Option D, hybrid cloud, is the best fit for this scenario.

When pre-requisite is scalability and security, we manily just go for security letting go the scalability part. Because the private one is the most complex to scale. This looks like the though behind choosing private. If we still consider both then the only option is hybrid.

Private Cloud, correct companies with precise demands such as their data are confidential and sensitive or need secure and robust efficiency; they should choose a private cloud model
