The 4/5 class model is the simplest of the three models in terms of QoS polices and typically accounts for real-time communications, call signaling, critical data, best-effort data, and scavenger data. The call signaling and critical data are often grouped together as a “mission-critical” category, thus this model is called the 4/5 class model.
