no mate, it is related with CCNA
this is from official cert guide : the 1000BASE-LX standard uses single-mode fiber
cabling, with support for a 5-km cable length; the 1000BASE-ZX standard supports an even
longer 70-km cable length. As time went by, and as the IEEE improved cabling distances for
fiber Ethernet links, Ethernet became a reasonable WAN technology.
"LH refers to Long Haul. Many vendors use both of them for certain SFP modules, but they aren't a Gigabit Ethernet standard at all. 1000BASE-LX/LH SFP can achieve a distance up to 20 km over single mode fiber. Unlike that, 1000BASE-LH SFP operates a distance up to 70 km over single mode fiber."
Even 1000Base-LH can reach up to 70km in distance.

Wow, some conflicting info out there. This is from Cisco site. D is correct.
1000BaseSX multi-mode fiber to 550 m.
1000BaseLX/LH multi-mode fiber to 550 m. Single-mode fiber to 10 km.
1000BaseZX single mode fiber to 70 km.

starting to hate my company. what is this? It's not i don't understand the stuff.... just the frustration gets unbearable. and that stresses ultimately
In the CCNA - WAN Concepts chapter, there is only the 1000Base-ZX standard which supports cable lengths up to 70 km and the 1000BASE-LX standard which supports fiber optic cable lengths of 5 km. There is no 1000BASE-LX/LH ...
