Selected Answer: A
C & D can't be used since we need an AD higher than 3 for the route to be used as a backup route. ::/128 in B points to a specific host, not a network and therefore it is not a default route. A is correct

ipv6 address autoconfig default: Enables automatic configuration of an IPv6 address using SLAAC on the Ethernet0/0 interface. The default keyword installs a default route in the routing table. -> 'ND ::/0 [2/0]' The router uses the prefix in the RA message to create a global unicast address on its Ethernet0/0 interface. -> 'NDp 2001:DB8:1234:1::/64 [2/0]'

Selected Answer: A
ND ::/0 [2/0] - means that the default route was automatically configured with the "ipv6 address autoconfig default" command (interface mode), and will always have AD 2. That's why to have a static default floating route we must include AD 3, if the first route fails, the static will assume with the initials "S ::/0 [3/0]". Out of the question but taking advantage, we can also see the initials "NDp [2/0]" which represents a configuration of a directly connected interface, however the command "ipv6 address autoconfig" was used, in this case without default. These are some of the uses of SLAAC and Neighbor Discovery Protocol (NDP) on the router - to configure IPv6 addresses and default route.

It was mostlikely manually configured to be that way to throw us off from choosing the correct answer. Youd automatically think that the default is 1 and choose an ans with the AD as 2.
