MLD snooping: MLD (Multicast Listener Discovery) snooping helps control the forwarding of multicast and unicast IPv6 traffic. MLD snooping allows the switch to examine MLD packets and make forwarding decisions based on their content.
IGMP snooping: IGMP (Internet Group Management Protocol) snooping helps control the delivery of multicast traffic by dynamically managing the addition and removal of VLAN port members based on IGMP messages.
the option for 'D' does not say 'vlan pruning' although I guess we are to assume that - anyway Snooping is the normal method for controlling multicast traffic - it doesn't say reduce multicast traffic
VLAN Pruning: VLAN pruning is a technique that prevents unnecessary multicast traffic from being forwarded to VLANs where there are no interested receivers. With VLAN pruning, switches can dynamically remove VLANs from the multicast distribution tree if there are no multicast receivers in that VLAN. This reduces the amount of multicast traffic on the network and prevents unnecessary flooding.
