Accuracy? Telemetry provides detection capabilities up to microseconds accuracy which can report micro changes in the network. SNMP is poll based with set amount of time. Anything in between polls may be missed. https://info.support.huawei.com/info-finder/encyclopedia/en/Telemetry.html I vote for Accuracy.

Another good one lol.... In the grand scheme of things, Options A-C are ALL VALID answers. But of course, you can only pick one. Personally, I would go with Option C as I believe that is what modern-driven telemetry was intended for. Plus, taken from the same link that Husein2024 posted: "Model-Driven Telemetry is a new approach for network monitoring in which data is streamed from network devices continuously using a push model and provides near real-time access to operational statistics. You can PRECISELY DEFINE what data you want to subscribe to using standard YANG models (YANG is a data modeling language used to model configuration and state data manipulated by the NETCONF protocol) with no CLI required. It allows network devices to continuously stream real time configuration and operating state information to subscribers."

C - Telemetry is a next-generation network monitoring technology used to remotely collect data from devices at high speed. Devices periodically push device information to a collector, providing real-time, high-speed, and accurate network monitoring.

I agree on C: Accuracy For example, one of the huge advantages of Cisco's Assurance is that you will immediately get notified of a fault. SNMP is not quite as accurate because you have to wait until the device gets polled. Getting an alert that is 5 minutes old is... innacurate.

C. accuracy can also be an advantage of network telemetry over SNMP pulls. Network telemetry provides continuous and real-time monitoring of network data, whereas SNMP pulls are periodic and may miss some data. This can lead to more accurate data collection and analysis with network telemetry.

The primary concern is security, secondary scalability and accuracy. would you agree?

But the question is: What is an advantage of network telemetry over SNMP pulls? Not what is the "primary concern", so the advantage is "Accuracy", 'C' is correct.

What is a benefit of using telemetry over SNMP to configure new routers for monitoring purposes? A. Telemetry uses push and pull, which makes it more secure than SNMP.
