Pipe Mode: QoS is done on the output interface of the PE router that is based on the received MPLS EXP field
Short-Pipe: This provides transparency wher ethe customer QoS markings (DSCP) in the packet is preserved. The egress PE uses the original customer QoS marking instead of the SP QoS marking
Uniform: If a QoS marking (MPLS EXP) is changed in teh MPLS network, it also changes the egress IP packet
