RADIUS (Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service): RADIUS is a networking protocol that provides centralized authentication, authorization, and accounting for users who connect and use a network service. It is commonly used for authenticating users in wireless networks and can be used to control access to the network through access points. TACACS+ (Terminal Access Controller Access-Control System Plus): TACACS+ is a protocol developed by Cisco that provides detailed accounting, authorization, and authentication (AAA) services. It is commonly used to manage users' access to network devices like routers, switches, and access points. It provides more granular control compared to RADIUS, especially in command authorization.

B & E are correct 802.1X defines the workings of port-based Network Access Control. It’s a standard for defining authentication for clients that need to attach to the network through a wired switch or a wireless access point. The purpose of this standard is to identify a reliable and universal way for clients to establish their identity and their right to be on a network. This is done through authentication to a network device using a central AAA security server or RADIUS server to support the authentication. https://www.auvik.com/franklyit/blog/802-1x-authentication/

After revision i found this, TACACS+ is primarily used for centralized authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) services in network infrastructure devices like routers, switches, and firewalls but it´s not typically utilized specifically for access points. So i think B & E are correct, read my other comment.

Option E (802.1x) is a port-based authentication protocol commonly used for controlling access to network ports, including those on access points, but it is not typically used for configuring access points; instead, it's used to control access to the network through them.
