A is correct. https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/xenapp-and-xendesktop/7-15-ltsr/manage-deployment/local-host-cache.html "The Local Host Cache (LHC) feature allows connection brokering operations in a XenApp or XenDesktop Site to continue when an outage occurs. An outage occurs when the connection between a Delivery Controller and the Site database fails. Local Host Cache engages when the site database is inaccessible for 90 seconds."

I think it's C. Once a session is already established then on-prem users can talk directly to VDI VMs running on the on-prem hypervisor. No brokering or any other connection to Citrix Cloud is needed. Only if a new session needs to be brokered Cloud Connectors would have to talk to Citrix Cloud. Also dual Cloud Connectors don't give us anything here because they are both on the single site that went completely off the network.

In my opinion it's B. Local host cache would do what the answer A says, however you don't know if it's activated or not. It's an optional feature, which you should enable, however it's not a must feature. Should we don't care about if this feature is enabled or not?

From my student manual: When an outage happens • The secondary broker starts listening for and processing connection requests. • When the outage begins, the secondary broker does not have current VDA registration data, but as soon as a VDA communicates with it, a registration process is triggered. During that process, the secondary broker also gets current session information about that VDA.

Why not "b", if there is an network faillure between Cloud and On-Premises, how do you do to connect to On-Premises servers via Citrix Cloud ?

"A" is correct Key notes" During an outage, one of the Cloud Connectors is elected to be the primary broker for the resource location. This means that capacity might be diminished during an outage, because LHC will only run on one of the Cloud Connectors at a time.

Agreed; the cloud model would be a garbage solution if on-premise workloads were inaccessible anytime that the Internet was temporarily inaccessible.
