The learner's question type would allow an instructor to determine a learner's need for clarification.
When learners ask questions, it provides an opportunity for the instructor to assess their level of understanding of the material being taught. By analyzing the type of questions being asked, the instructor can determine if the learners are confused or need further clarification.
For example, if the learner is asking a lot of basic or foundational questions, it may indicate that they are struggling to grasp the core concepts of the material. On the other hand, if the learner is asking more complex or nuanced questions, it may indicate that they have a deeper understanding of the material but need further explanation to fully grasp the more advanced concepts.
While the learner's body language and motivation can also provide clues about their understanding of the material, they are not as reliable as the type of questions being asked. Test results can provide feedback on a learner's overall comprehension of the material, but they may not necessarily indicate where the learner needs clarification.
