Which of the following is the MOST secure connection used to inspect and provide controlled internet access when remote employees are connected to the corporate network?
the MOST secure connection would be a full-tunnel VPN. This is because all traffic from the remote device is sent through the VPN and encrypted, rather than just specific traffic as with a split-tunnel VPN.
Yep I agree, however I don't quite understand how it is more secure than a split tunnel from a technical point. We are only interested in securing the relevant stream of data, if the employee is working on a split tunnel and their other data e.g. youtube videos is not being encrypted, how does that impact the security of the company?
The MOST secure connection used to inspect and provide controlled internet access when remote employees are connected to the corporate network is Full-tunnel VPN.
In a full-tunnel VPN, all traffic from the remote user’s device is routed through the VPN tunnel to the corporate network. This provides the highest level of security because all traffic is encrypted and inspected by the corporate network’s security devices.
