Selected Answer: D
The correct tool to terminate the cables at the patch panel would be a Punchdown tool. The Punchdown tool is specifically designed for terminating Ethernet cables onto a patch panel or keystone jack. It allows the technician to push the individual wires into the appropriate slots on the patch panel, ensuring proper connections and secure termination. A cable crimper is used to attach connectors to the ends of cables, but it is not suitable for terminating cables at a patch panel.

A punch down tool, which can also be named an RJ45 punch down tool, or Krone tool, is a hand tool widely used to terminate the Ethernet cables by inserting the cable wires into the insulation-displacement connectors (IDC) on the punch down blocks, patch panels, keystone modules, and surface mount of boxes.

Shouldn't it be D - Punchdown Tool? The question states that you want to terminate the connection AT the punchdown block, can't have that without a punchdown tool. Also I did a bit of research into crimp tools, and generally what I see is their main use is to well... crimp, to squeeze things together, like when you crimp a RJ 11 or RJ 45, and also other types of non IT related cables, such as electrical cables etc. I think it's confusing because usually a crimper will have a sharp edge for you to cut the outer jacket of a cable off, but I don't believe that to be the primary use of a crimp tool.
