Agreed with ITSuffering. From the Sybex book: "Start-to-Start (SS) In a start- to- start relationship, the predecessor activity must start before the successor activity can start." vs. "Finish-to-Start (FS) In a finish- to- start relationship, the successor activity cannot begin until the predecessor activity has completed"

You would want the database renewal to be finished. What if its a completly different database when that project is finished? If you based your mobile app on the older database...

Selected Answer: B
The relationship where the mobile application project cannot start if the database renewal project has not started is best described as "B. Start-to-start." In a Start-to-Start relationship, the dependent task (in this case, the mobile application project) cannot start until the task it depends on (the database renewal project) has started. This means that both projects are tied at their starting points: the start of the mobile application project is dependent on the start of the database renewal project.

Selected Answer: B
B - A start-to-start relationship in project management describes a situation where the start of one task or project depends on the start of another task or project. In this case, the start of the mobile application project depends on the start of the database renewal project. Therefore, this is a start-to-start relationship.

Selected Answer: C
In a "finish-to-start" relationship, the successor activity (mobile application project) cannot start until the predecessor activity (database renewal project) has finished. In this case, the database renewal project acts as the predecessor, and its completion is a prerequisite for the start of the mobile application project.

This is incorrect. B is the correct answer. "The mobile application project cannot start if the database renewal project has not started" Mobile application cannot start until database renewal project has started
