I go with VDI. if you lose your device the data and infrastructure still intact somewhere else, that means security as well. Whereas with CYOD when the device is gone the data is gone too.

C. Cope. I have a COPE mobile phone and have never had or owned my own personal phone. When the devices are upgraded I get to choose which phone I want. I can use the device for personnel use. The device is corporate owned but i personally enable what I want. This offers flexibility for me the employee for device preference, and the company is not supporting to many different types of hardware.

VDI is the best choice. VDI Virtual desktop infrastructure is safest because all of the running application are not from the user's device, it is running from inside the company network and equipment. The company controls the data using the VDI.

VDI I know! but honestly, I have never heard of CYOD before, I will go with what i know.
