Its without a doubt D. Locking Cabinets. Think of Amazon Smart Lockers, those are used for contactless package pickup.

Selected Answer: E
I'm inclined to say D (Locking Cabinet), but after reading CompTIA's N+ Review Guide, I'm leaning towards E (Smart Lockers). Read below and tell me what you think. Page 412 and 413 N+ Review Guide 5th edition. - Locking Cabinets (Can even thwart an attacker from gaining unauthorized access to information or materials. Cabinets are not just used for files; other media and valuables can be on hand, and they should be locked up in cabinets as well. - Smart Lockers (In many large tech-driven organizations, these smart lockers can dispense and track electronics for their employees. An Employee has to scan their employee badge, and equipment is automatically checked out to them, and returning the devices requires a similar process.

"Locking Cabinets: Lockable cabinets or safes can provide secure storage for individual items, such as media with cryptographic keys or shared password lists. Smart Lockers A smart locker is a cabinet that supports unlocking via a smart card/badge or biometric. Lockers may also have built-in monitoring and surveillance that can alert an administrator when an item is added ore removed." -Official CompTIA Network+ Study Guide

Pretty sure it would be "D", locking cabinet. In my experience, smart lockers are often used by people visiting data centers to store their phone or keys, and not something you'd store equipment in long term.

Selected Answer: E
Smart lockers usually have features that make them more secure than traditional storage options, like locking mechanisms that prevent anyone but you (with a valid key card or access fob) from entering.

Selected Answer: D
D. Locking cabinet A locking cabinet physically secures spare workstation inventory, preventing unauthorized access to the equipment. It offers a tangible barrier that restricts entry unless authorized personnel have the necessary keys or access codes. While the other options can contribute to security measures, they might not provide the same level of physical protection against unauthorized access:
