Selected Answer: A
The company is MOST likely trying to protect against: A. loss of proprietary information. By ensuring that all whiteboards are cleaned and all desks are cleared before the tour, the company is taking measures to prevent any sensitive or proprietary information from being inadvertently exposed to guests during the facility tour. This is a common security practice to protect against the potential loss or disclosure of confidential information to unauthorized individuals.

No way its A. The question reads: "the company sends out an email to employees to ensure all whiteboards are cleaned and all desks are cleared" 1. Even within an organization most employees don't have access to propriety information for them to hide. 2. Its pretty impossible to simply walk by or glance at someone's desk even for 5-10 minutes and be able to gather sensitive proprietary information. The only possible thing to be captured by glancing or walking by is credentials which as a result could possibly lead to the theft of proprietary info down the line. Answer is D!

Selected Answer: A
The company is likely taking precautions to avoid the accidental disclosure of sensitive or proprietary information. Whiteboards and desks can often contain information regarding internal processes, projects, or data that the company would not want to be disclosed to the public or competitors. By cleaning whiteboards and clearing desks, the company is reducing the risk of unintentional exposure of proprietary information during the facility tour.
