C is the correct answer Comprehensive and Detailed Step-by-Step Explanation: Modifying duplex settings to double-sided: Printing on both sides of the paper (duplex printing) reduces paper usage, making it one of the most effective environmentally friendly printing initiatives. It directly minimizes waste and supports sustainability goals in the workplace.

Incorrect Options: A. Requiring user authentication for printing: While this can reduce unnecessary or unauthorized printing, it does not directly address environmental objectives like saving resources. B. Locking down printing to only certain individuals: Limiting access may reduce printing overall, but it does not actively contribute to environmentally friendly practices like duplex printing. D. Changing the print quality settings to best: Using the "best" print quality increases toner or ink usage, which is counterproductive to environmentally friendly objectives. I think its C. Which of the following printing initiatives would be BEST to accomplish environmentally friendly objectives? "environmentally friendly objectives" Making every users to authenticate for ever print is not as friendly as just letting them print both side to save paper. C is the answer. we all overthinking this question.

Plus if we use process of elimination on these question both A and B is similar because it is trying to limit people from printing, which is not "friendly" and D don't make sense for this question.

Selected Answer: C
Options A and B focus more on user access control rather than addressing environmental concerns. Option D, changing the print quality settings to best, may increase the use of ink or toner without a significant environmental benefit. Option C is the only environmentally friendly answer.

Selected Answer: C
While A is a great way to eliminate wasteful printing you need to look at the overall. Usually most people grab their printouts from the printer than don't. Overall, setting to duplex so every print job prints on both sides would be more beneficial to the environmentally friendly objective. To further it that objective, you can then set A as your second choice.

I think its C to be honest. Because the question is talking about environmentally friendly objective. I think we are overthinking it with A. It should be C as it's the most simple and answers the question with no additional thinking needed. C directly answers the question as duplex printing reduces paper waste and benefits the environment.

Should be A. People would limit printing if log exists.

Sure duplxing will halve your paper requirements. But user authentication is the best known method to eliminate pointless printouts that are not needed in schools etc.
