Selected Answer: C
C is correct Can hard drives be reused after degaussing? After degaussing hard drives, these cannot be reused. The reason being, in addition to removing data or making it unreadable, degaussing also removes the Start up files. Consequently, the degaussed hard drives do not boot up. https://www.cybrary.it/blog/how-to-erase-a-hard-drive-and-reuse-for-good#:~:text=After%20degaussing%20hard%20drives%2C%20these,drives%20do%20not%20boot%20up.

Selected Answer: B
REPURPOSE MEAN to use something for a different purpose to the one for which it was originally intended. by shredding they will destroy de item, and low level formatting wouldn't delete the data completely as it can always be recover so i say B degaussing because all data will be deleted and they can still use the drive for whatever

Selected Answer: B
It's B because in the question it ask for delete the data permanently AND Degaussing is a method of permanently erasing data from working and non-working hard drives, tape, and floppy disks. Degaussing completely sanitizes the media of data in seconds by delivering a powerful magnetic pulse that instantly destroys all magnetic domains on the disk platters.

No, degaussing will make it un-useable. They need to reuse the drive. If the question said "they DO NOT need to reuse the drive..." then degaussing (B) would be the answer all day. In this case, the answer is C - Low level.
