The answer is D for sure. None of the three backup types taught use the date to decide what to backup, so A and C are out. B backs up all files - that's a full. The last option remaining is D. The official CompTIA Network + student guide says:
Differential All data modified since the last full backup.
backup/restore time: Moderate/moderate (no more than two sets)
attribute: Not Cleared
A would be correct if differential backup is done everyday. I think for D to be correct, after backup the archive bit should be cleared, otherwise the files would be constantly backup up
what you're saying is an incremental backup. differential backup is the one that is performed since the last full backup, hence we are not clearing the archive bit
D states it does not clear the achieve bi
