A systems administrator is creating a new document with a list of the websites that users are allowed to access. Which of the following types of documents is the administrator most likely creating?
At first I thought A. Access Control List was correct but after rereading the question I see they use the work document. The document being created is most likely the AUP so I agree with B being the correct answer.
Answer cannot be ACL
An access control list (ACL) is a table that defines permissions for users or system processes to access resources and perform operations. ACLs are used in IT security policies, procedures, and technologies, such as firewalls, routers, and border access devices.
An acceptable use policy (AUP) outlines acceptable and prohibited behaviors for using an organization's resources, while an access control list (ACL) controls permissions to access a computer system or network
B
An acceptable use policy (AUP) is a written document that outlines the rules and guidelines for using an organization's IT resources, such as devices, networks, and software. The purpose of an AUP is to protect assets, ensure security, and maintain a productive work environment. It also aims to ensure that everyone using IT facilities is aware of their responsibilities and uses these facilities safely and equitably.
An acceptable use policy (AUP), acceptable usage policy or fair use policy is a set of rules applied by the owner, creator or administrator of a computer network, website, or service that restricts the ways in which the network, website or system may be used and sets guidelines as to how it should be used.
An Access Control List is a useful tool for ensuring that users can only access the websites that they are authorized to use. It can also help prevent unauthorized access to sensitive information and resources
The answer is B.
An Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is a document that outlines the appropriate use of access to a corporate network, the internet, or other resources.
