Selected Answer: B
If the RJ45 port has failed on a laptop causing loss of wired internet connectivity, the quickest way the engineer can immediately restore network access is to connect to the WAP (Wireless Access Point) using the laptop's Wi-Fi (option B). With a failed Ethernet jack, a wired connection is not currently possible on that laptop. Updating drivers or replacing the NIC would require significant time and access to resources.

it's because it's faster than replacing the NIC, you just connect them to WIFI temporarily

Selected Answer: C
C. Replace the NIC (Network Interface Card). The RJ45 port is a physical part of the NIC, and if it has failed, replacing the NIC with a functioning one should restore the ability to connect to the network via Ethernet. This assumes that the issue is with the hardware itself and not a driver or software-related problem.
