Fun fact...devices CAN be in different subnets for them to talk to each other. That's what layer 3 routing is for. All the IP configurations look correct so if a remote host is unreachable, then the problem is with the routing configuration. Answer is A.

In the real world, yes. But this is for the Cloud+ exam. We can only work with the information we are given and we do not have the routing configuration.

A. I'm with sweet_taterz. Routing is the issue. It's got 2 NICs (both configured correctly for what they do), becasue it needs to communicate to the front end and back end networks. But unless we assume both of those networks are airgapped, there's definitely routing involved and it's apparently not letting the back end subnets talk to each other.

NIC1 is configured for the production network. It needs to be configured the for infrastructure network to reach 10.10.10.180 (which is on subnet 10.10.1.10.128 /25)

Negative. It has NIC2 to talk to the 10.10.10 network. The only causes of issue would be routing or subnet mask and the mask is obviously good at /25.

Nope. 10.10.10 network is shows as /25 above and as the exact same mask .128 just specified a different way. .128 is /25 in CIDR.

There's nothing wrong with that subnet mask. It's /25 which is the subnet for application servers.
