Compressed air is ideal for dislodging dust, crumbs, and other debris that can accumulate under the keys, causing them to stick. It’s safe for electronic devices like laptops because it doesn't introduce moisture, which could damage the internal components.

t is compressed air. If a key is sticking, it means the issue is underneath, it doesn't mean that it sticks to your finger! Cleaning wipe won't do any good, you need to dislodge whatever is under the key that makes it stick.

interestingly, ChatGPT 4o says its B and also states that it is recommended by Comptia A+ to use compressed air. This is tricky.

Because the keyboard is STICKY a cleaning wipe is the best option for cleaning a laptop keyboard. Cleaning wipes specifically designed for electronics can effectively remove dirt, dust, and debris from the keyboard without causing damage.

Selected Answer: C
Compressed air isn't the best option because the laptop is suffering from dirt. The problem is the key being stick which would require some liquid to remove the stick-ness.

But what if the issue is underneath the keys? You'll need compressed air for that.

A gas duster, also known as tinned wind or compressed air, is a product used for cleaning or dusting electronic equipment and other sensitive devices that cannot be cleaned using water. Gas duster can be used for cleaning dust off surfaces such as keyboards, as well as sensitive electronics in which moisture is not desired. When using gas duster, it is recommended to not hold the can upside down, as this can result in spraying liquid on to the surface.
