I think it is A Found this on Tech Target.com: A memorandum of understanding (MOU) is a formal agreement that outlines plans for a common line of action between two or more parties. An MOU is used when companies plan to work together or partner on a project or similar venture. In government, these agreements are used to coordinate interagency work.

Selected Answer: A
The correct answer is A. MOU (Memorandum of Understanding). A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is a document that outlines the agreement between two or more parties. In the context of sharing cloud resources between two international companies, an MOU would specify the terms and conditions for utilizing the shared resources, including responsibilities, usage guidelines, and any other relevant agreements.

After reading some comments and further research A is the likely answer but I can also seeing AUP being the answer. SLA wouldn't apply here.

Meant to paste the following: When two international companies decide to share cloud resources for a project, they would establish an SLA to define the terms of their collaboration, including how the shared resources will be utilized, what level of service each party can expect, and any responsibilities or obligations regarding the use of the resources.

MOU is a general understanding/framework for cooperation. SLA is specific and states how resources should be utilized granularly.

MOU is the only one that makes sense. This is a non-legal agreement between 2 parties on "something". In the case of this question it's the project files NDA... no... Non-Disclosure Agreement AUP - Acceptable Use Policy. This is an internal policy of a company for how to use things within the company SLA - Service Level Agreement. This is a relationship between a company and it's customers. Or sometimes 2 orgs within the same company when one org is reliant on another org. Like an IT department getting internal tickets from other employees within the company.

A. Im only saying this because an MOU is an informal agreement between two parties that are talking about sharing resources. They called in a consultant to be the middle man between two INTERNATIONAL companies. There's a possibility there's a language barrier and are just trying to figure out how to share cloud resources for a project they want to do together. You wouldn't want to sign a contract (SLAs use contracts) without speaking to a consultant. Plus SLAs are used more as a contract between a service provider and a CUSTOMER. Nobody in this question looks to me like they are purchasing a service from the other but sharing what resources they already both have. I hate with a passion how Comptia does this "read between the lines" bs of questions

But it's 2 parties are equal footing for the same project. Not a Company and a Customer which is what SLAs are for.

D. SLA (Service Level Agreement) Explanation: A Service Level Agreement (SLA) is a formal contract between a service provider and a customer that outlines the agreed-upon level of service, performance metrics, responsibilities, and terms of service. In the context of sharing cloud resources between two international companies for a project, an SLA would provide an agreement on how to utilize the resources, including aspects such as:

saw this on chat GPT. concerned that SLA is between a client and a provider not two companies. "(service) level agreement" implies the PROVIDER and client are agreeing on what services will be provided not an agreement between two independant entities.. maybe you're right if one company owns it though..
