ATM-think asynchronous like ADSL, it's the interface type for ADSL modems/routers. If you're an ADSL customer, your bandwidth is ghastly. Peak times are terrible for ADSL customers, they will run into slower speeds when everyone in the neighborhood is online. Go slow and run it during off-peak times.
