it does not have a DHCP server. so only way to restore communication with rest of the network is assign static entry. we know 169.254.x.x is a APIPA address but in the question , they didn't ask about this ip address. they asked , what action has to be taken to communicate with entire network.

A. Static Entry, you need to manually set the ip address. why its not C. apipa address would not fix the communication
