Assuming several servers in different racks are noisy, so in order to monitor them, the technician may establish the remote connections to all of them instead of changing fans. But who chooses the answers in Examtopics, this is questionable

Selected Answer: D
Given that there are no indicator lights, it means that nothing actually failed. The most likely reason of the noise are failing fans that just haven't completely failed yet. Secondly, the tech is local, there's literally no reason to establish a remote connection. If he really want to check some logs, he'd use a cart. Lastly, what else makes loud noises on a server?? The answer is clearly D

Selected Answer: C
C. Establish a remote connection to the server. This approach enables the technician to perform a preliminary assessment and potentially pinpoint the cause of the noise without immediately resorting to physical interventions that may disrupt server operations. Once the source of the noise is identified through logs or hardware status reports, the technician can decide on the appropriate course of action, whether it involves replacing specific components or adjusting configurations to mitigate the noise.
