A. Uninstall the game application The problems began right after installing the app — it's likely malicious or poorly coded. Removing it is the first logical and safe step. F. Enable the device's built-in anti-malware protection Android devices (especially newer ones) come with built-in security like Google Play Protect. Enabling or running a scan can help detect other threats or confirm the app was problematic. Why not the others? B. Perform a factory reset of the device This is a last resort, not the first step. It wipes everything and should only be done if other efforts fail. C. Connect the device to an external charger This only treats the symptom (battery drain), not the root cause. D. Install the latest security patches Important, yes — but won't remove the problem app or stop current issues. E. Clear the application's cache Not helpful if the app itself is malicious or causing system-level problems — uninstalling is more effective.

Makes the most sense. The application is a problem or it could be a memory issue, but either way removing the app would be the quickest way to solve the issue. I don't understand how clearing the application's cache would resolve the issue when it was only recently installed.

Once you uninstall the application, clearing the cache wouldn't need to be done. It's either A,D or A,F but I'm leaning to A,D as android devices don't include built-in malware scanners
