C. CMOS battery failing The CMOS battery provides power to the system clock, which keeps track of the date and time even when the computer is turned off. A failing CMOS battery can cause the system to lose its time and date settings, resulting in the error message. GG

On the test, if anything has to do with the Date & Time, it's most likely an issue with the CMOS battery.
