C. Increase the RAM. E. Uninstall unnecessary software. These two options are the most likely to resolve the issue of a computer slowing down over time, especially when multiple applications are open: Increasing the RAM: More RAM allows the system to handle multiple applications simultaneously, improving performance and reducing the likelihood of freezes. Uninstalling unnecessary software: Removing unused software can free up system resources and improve performance. While updating drivers and reinstalling the OS could potentially resolve the issue, they are more drastic measures and should only be considered if other solutions fail. Increasing hard drive space and disabling scheduled tasks are less likely to have a significant impact on performance in this scenario.

Space doesn't explain this. It's more likely that after a reboot everything is fine until programs slowly fill the memory. Removing bloat that's potentially running in the background and using resources is a good way to free memory. Also, if you already increase the RAM, then paging would therefore be less of an issue, so D would make even less sense.

CD A computer that slows down throughout the day could be due to a number of reasons, including too many programs running, limited memory, or a hard drive issue. Here are some things you can try: Free up space Uninstall any unused programs to free up storage and prevent them from running in the background. You can also run a disk cleanup to scan your drive for files you can delete. Upgrade hardware Upgrading your RAM can help if your computer struggles to multitask. Upgrading your hard drive to an SSD can also noticeably speed up your computer. Reduce background programs Too many background programs can slow down your computer, even if they aren't in use. Try disabling startup programs that you don't often use. Defragment your hard drive Defragmenting helps speed up your computer, especially if you add and remove files often. Update your operating system and drivers Keeping your software updated can help.
