A. appears to be the most correct and the option actually addressing the one potential mis-match in installing new hardware. Everything else describes checking equipment that was either working just fine before the hardware upgrade (that wasn't touched) or was never changed before or after the upgrade.

Checking every single cable is time intensive and may be unnecessary. A is going to be the fastest option to see what drives aren't connected, and if the issue is between the Drives and the RAID controller, which is what D is "fixing" or if the issue is between the RAID controller and the OS.
