Selected Answer: C
Excessive noise on the 2.4GHz band: When a WAP is moved, it can sometimes be closer to other devices that emit signals on the same 2.4GHz frequency, like microwaves, cordless phones, baby monitors, and other nearby Wi-Fi networks. This increased proximity can cause more interference, leading to the intermittent connection issues experienced by the laptops.

Selected Answer: B
Personally feel like the answer is B. The microwave was probably in the office for the entire time prior to the WAP moving and there were no issues before. The signal reflecting is the only thing that makes sense in this case. Comptia threw in the microwave to throw people off cause usually for them the formula is 2.5Ghz + Microwave = Problems.

Comptia loves microwaves as the answer to 2.4 GHz. everytime a microwave is an option with 2.4 GHz, pick it.

It being an intermittent issue and a 2.4 GHz frequency….i feel like they are trying to edge us toward the microwave being a problem again. CompTIA always finding a way to bring microwaves in a random question.

Selected Answer: C
C. excessive noise is a strong possibility. It could be caused by various sources, but considering the intermittent nature of the issue D might also be plausible answer.

Selected Answer: B
When a wireless access point (WAP) is moved, its signal can bounce off different surfaces in the office, causing the signal to reflect. This reflection can lead to interference with the signal reaching laptops, especially if the new WAP location creates more reflections or obstructs the direct path of the signal. This is particularly true with 2.4GHz frequencies, which are more prone to interference from reflections compared to 5GHz.

Selected Answer: D
WAP was likely moved near the microwave. Issues are intermittent. Microwave interferes with 2.4GHZ.

I dont believe the answer should be excessive noise nor Microwave in the office, leaving option A and B. B option seems to be the best option. Answered by eliminating method
